Our Story
Hi, I am Keith Groen, owner of Brightside Renovations. When I began working in renovations, I did what any resourceful fellow would do… I began working on my own home as well. Renovating my own home taught me firsthand the costs and frustrations of renovations from the homeowner’s perspective, but it also gave me the opportunity to see how, with good materials and workmanship, I could make my own space more livable for my family. I fell in love with renovations. My passion lies in doing a job right, using quality materials, and following the right process… the first time. I am thankful for the time I spent learning my trade with a contractor who shared the same vision of craftsmanship and quality work. Having grown up in a home where my parents ran their own small business, business ownership was also in my blood, so I launched Brightside Renovations. I love transforming my customers’ homes into spaces that will function for them and stand the test of time.
When I am not renovating houses, you can usually find me outside biking, walking around town, or camping! I am married to my wonderful and supportive wife, Emily. We live in the scenic town of Caledonia, where we raise our three kids.
