Initial Consultation and Site Walkthrough
After receiving your request through our website, Keith will contact you personally to discuss your project. We will then schedule a site walkthrough to:
– Assess the space
– Get acquainted with your home and how the space functions.
– Understand your needs, vision, and style aspirations
– We want to know the functional requirements for the space and your dreams for how it can look.
– Gather the details necessary to develop a tailored plan
– Any measurements or further investigations required.

Project Quote and Approval
Following the walkthrough, we prepare a detailed quote outlining the scope of work, estimated costs, and timelines. Then, we present the quote, explaining the cost and the impact of various key decisions in the project. Once you approve the final proposal, we will plan and schedule your renovation.

Design and Planning
Keith has been with you since your first email. He will work closely with you to translate your ideas into a visual plan for the project, offering guidance on materials, colours, and finishes. We want to make a beautiful, functional space that supports your dream for your home. Whether your project requires structural changes, custom tile work, or a complete home transformation, we collaborate with skilled architects (if needed) to finalize plans and obtain necessary permits. Your input is key. It ensures the final design aligns with your vision and budget.

Permits and Preparation
Before construction begins, we take care of any required permits, finalize drawings, and ensure everything is set for a smooth renovation. Working with engineers, we ensure compliance to building code and streamline the process.
We coordinate with licensed electricians, plumbers, and other professionals to ensure high-quality work from start to finish. Creating a workback schedule for choosing materials and arranging experts ensures a smooth process.

Construction and Execution
With a solid plan in place, our team begins the renovation process. We maintain clear communication throughout construction, providing updates and addressing questions or concerns.
Part of the construction plan involves making decisions about finishes. When the time comes, Keith will visit suppliers with you to help guide key decisions regarding materials such as flooring, tiles, kitchen counters, etc.
Construction may follow this order:
- Demolition
- Framing & structural reinforcement
- HVAC & electrical and plumbing upgrades
- Insulation installation: Spray foam or batt
- New windows & doors
- Drywall boarding and mudding, painting
- Flooring installed
- Kitchen & vanity installation
- Doors, casing, baseboard, window jambs, and mouldings
- Final touches include carpentry, painting, and furniture installation.
We value your input throughout the renovation. If adjustments or modifications are needed, we discuss solutions and refine them to align with your expectations while maintaining project timelines.

Final Walkthrough and Post-Project Follow-Up
Upon completion, we will conduct a final walkthrough with you to ensure every detail meets your standards and you are satisfied with the work. We review all structural changes, materials, and craftsmanship details. We confirm that everything functions well in your everyday life. If any final touch-ups or adjustments are needed, we promptly take care of them.
